The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) is collaborating with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat) in the IDCamp x Kadin Tech Challenge program to produce more digital talent in Indonesia through a scholarship program.<\/p>\n
Carrying the theme \"Towards Golden Indonesia 2045\", this year's participants are expected to be able to create and develop systems that benefit the agriculture, fisheries, and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sectors.<\/p>\n
\"We welcome the collaborative program between Kadin Indonesia and Indosat. Furthermore, scholarship program participants from Solo, Makassar, Medan areas who have received Kadin IDCamp X scholarships will have the opportunity to create an information system that aims to improve performance and productivity in the agricultural sector, fisheries, as well as MSMEs,\" said Chairman of Kadin Indonesia, Arsjad Rasjid in a Media Update at the Kadin Tower, Jakarta, Monday (10\/4).<\/p>\n
According to Arsjad, the program is focused on these three sectors because all three still need a lot of support to be able to move more optimally through digital transformation.<\/p>\n
\"MSMEs have a major contribution in dominating Indonesia's business structure and absorb 97 percent of the workforce. Agriculture and fisheries also have an important role to play in maintaining food security,\" said Arsjad.<\/p>\n
Arsjad said that apart from improving the skills of the participants, this program also offers prospects for direct integration into the industry.<\/p>\n
President Director and CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Vikram Sinha, said the program demonstrated Indosat and Kadin Indonesia's commitment to fulfill the needs of digital talent in Indonesia by prioritizing sustainable collaboration.<\/p>\n

Kadin Tech Challenge was attended by more than 3,000 IDCamp x Kadin 2023 participants in the cities of Solo, Medan, Makassar and their surroundings. Participants can develop various systems, be it in the form of databases, web-based systems, or even in the form of applications to be implemented in the agriculture, fisheries and MSME industries.<\/p>\n
This program starts from April 10 to August 2023. After going through the judging process, the winners will be announced in August 2023. Various attractive prizes are available for the 20 selected winners.<\/p>\n
