149.38 million of the 214.00 million working-age population in February 2024, were in the labor force. Thus, the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) reached 69.80%.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

A total of 7.20 million people or 4.82 percent of the total labor force in February 2024 were unemployed. The number of unemployed people decreased by 0.79 million people compared to February 2023. This figure is already lower than before the pandemic (February 2020).<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The three business sectors with the highest number of workers are Agriculture, Trade, and Processing Industry. The working-age population during this period was 211.59 million people, consisting of 69.30 per cent of the labour force and 30.70 per cent of the non-labour force.<\/p>

The highest proportion of the Labour Force by education completed was \u2264SD (Elementary) at 38.76 per cent.<\/p>

The majority of the working population are full-time workers (working hours of at least 35 hours per week) and temporarily unemployed (0 working hours per week), as many as 92.16 million people or 66.48 per cent.<\/p>

Meanwhile, the working population is mostly found in 3 business sectors, including the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector (40.69 million people or 29.36 per cent), the wholesale and retail trade sector (26.24 million people or 18.93 per cent), and the manufacturing industry sector (18.83 million people or 13.58 per cent).\u00a0<\/p>

The national open unemployment rate (TPT) was 5.45 per cent. According to the education completed, SMK graduates have the highest TPT rate at 9.60 per cent.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
